This Domaine of 25 hectares, who stages himself between 300 and 400 meters, is situated at the south of the appellation, in APT (vaucluse) on the hill of Puys.
If the vines have between 20 and 30 years, and one grenache portions out have 50 years, the appellation of the domaine is recent.
Created on april 1999, the "Domaine de Font Alba" draw its origins in a fountain dated from the end XVIIIème century, at the enter of the property who's became the symbol.

Which was your motivation in the choice of this new activity ?
liking the wine, eager to pass from the other with dimensions of the bottle, wanting to create familial activity, i choose to invest in a vineyard
How that it occurred ? :
Having managed forests during 20 years, some of them situated in vitocoles areas, more my taste for the wine, imagination made the remainder. After having evacuated the areas which were not appropriate to me either because of the price or because of the spirit and look for a white vineyard, after moulte adventures one day while coming to see a friend who lived in the area of Gordes, i discovered that there was vineyard in Ventoux and Luberon. After more visits, i bought this Domaine that we manage today.
Which evolution since the creation of the domaine ? :
Bought in 1999, it's much too early to ask at this question. in the world of the vine growing we need at least 10 years to obtain a notoriety of quality and financial. But since vintage 2000 our products quietly started to penetrate the markets, exports and nationals. Today we are represented in some parisian restaurants, like in Belgium, Japan, Scotland, and before long in two states of the USA.
How you reached that point? :
By much of work on the quality of the wines, and much of investments in material and relational.
With what do attach you the most importance in your work of today? :
The time spent to the public relations and the representation of the domaine near the distributors and journalists, as well as the relationship to the personnel in the company. In fact the work of a commander of ship doubled of that of the ship-owner.
How you consider the future ? :
With hope because I know that my son will take again the torch. With wisdom because the market of the wine will be, on the one hand, increasingly competing, and on the other hand, increasingly heavy administratively, thanks to Europe.
